Born and raised on the east coast of the United States, Brann relocated to Berlin in Summer 2020. 

 

Mostly self-taught, she began abstract painting twelve years ago after a long career in entertainment finance.  Her artworks involve bold, gestural textures, stained color segments, meditative patterns, and the use of metal leaf - particularly gold.  

 

Since living in Berlin, her work has been influenced by the natural world, architectural shapes, a love of music, human emotions, and visions that occur during meditations.
