Karolína Netolická studied at the Higher Vocational School of Applied Arts in Prague. The domain of her work is drawing with dry pastel on canvas.
She works with multi-layered figurative compositions or animal compilations, inclined to large format artworks. In her drawings, she tries to capture two different - but at the same time interdependent worlds. She contrasts the world of man and the non-human world (nature).
She most often compares the human and bird worlds. She perceives nature as a lost home, to which it is possible to return only under the condition of changing our previous behavior and lordly attitude. In the paintings, the barriers or boundaries between man and nature are expressed symbolically by means of human products of the present time.
